Edwards, 22, has always said that Depp, 52, is the "biggest crush of her life", and so she was clearly overjoyed when he asked her to attend a garden party at his home.
"Me and Mr. Depp have hung out. We were meant to go to his house for a barbecue, but I think we were flying back from America so couldn't go," Edwards told The Sun newspaper, reports femalefirst.co.uk.
Although Edwards wasn't able to attend the summer bash, she and the "Pirates of the Caribbean" star, who is married to Amber Heard still got the opportunity to hang out at a later date.
"Instead Johnny said, 'Oh I'm in the studio today with Alice Cooper, why don't you come down?' We went and hung out with them for a bit ... He is so cool," Edwards said.
