Hollywood actress Zooey Deschanel, who recently split from her husband of two years Ben Gibbard, says she is not ready to begin a new relationship yet.
The "500 Days of Summer" star split with the Death Cab for Cutie frontman in November last year and said she has no time to date, reported Us magazine. "Honestly, I'm just going through a divorce, so I don't really think [dating] is something I want to get into now.
I don't have time to date. I literally don't have time," the 32-year-old star said. Zooey, who became an aunt for the first time when her actress sister Emily Deschanel gave birth in September 2011, doesn't envision children in her future, either.
"That's never been my focus. My sister was always very motherly, babysitting and stuff. I like kids, and I like being around kids, but it was never an ambition -- something, like, I need. I like working.
That's what I like doing. I like to work," Zooey said. Her hard work has certainly paid off. "New Girl" is a hit with viewers and critics, and Zooey earned her first Golden Globe nomination for the role of Jess in 2012.
