Aniston, Lisa Kudrow and Courtney Cox reprised their screen roles in close to an eight-minute spoof on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!', where the anchor played Ross Gellar.

Aniston, 45, initially pretends to be appalled by the funny script written by Kimmel and also refuses to wear 'Rachel wig', when he offers. This did not go down well with the fans who took to social media to express their anger and resentment, reported Us magazine. "Of course, we were acting.

It was acting. Everybody knew it was gonna happen, we rehearsed it backstage, it was scripted out. The idea was that I would force Jennifer into this mini Friends reunion, and she pretended to be annoyed by it," Kimmel clarified.

"For some reason, maybe half, if not more, of the people commenting online seemed to think that was real," he added. The reunion of three actresses is said to be linked to next month's 20th anniversary of 'Friends', which also starred Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimmer.
