Los Angeles: J Abrams has finally announced the cast for 'Star Wars: Episode VII' and it is a star-studded affair with the likes of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Adam Driver among the Hollywood actors who have been confirmed for the next installment.

Original stars Ford, Fisher, Hamill, Kenny Baker, Anthony Daniels and Peter Mayhew will be joined by new additions to the cast which includes names like John Boyega, Daisy Ridley, Driver, Oscar Isaac, Andy Serkis, Domhnall Gleeson, and Max von Sydow.
"We are so excited to finally share the cast of Star Wars: Episode VII. It is both thrilling and surreal to watch the beloved original cast and these brilliant new performers come together to bring this world to life, once again. We start shooting in a couple of weeks, and everyone is doing their best to make the fans proud," Abrams said.
Abrams will direct from a screenplay he co-wrote alongside Lawrence Kasdan, with the movie being set about 30 years after the events of 'Star Wars: Episode VI Return of the Jedi'. Kathleen Kennedy, JJ Abrams, and Bryan Burk are producing, and John Williams will score the music of the film.
The film will soon begin shooting in London, where Ford, Fisher and Hamill were all spotted over the weekend. 'Star Wars: Episode VII' is expected for release in December 2015.
