Will Smith and Martin Lawrence-starrer Bad Boys 3 is now titled Bad Boys for Life. The long-in-development and much-awaited movie, which was originally slated to release on February 17, 2017 will now hit the theatres on January 2, 2018, reports a website.

Sony is yet to decide the production start date for the third instalment. Joe Carnahan, who directed Liam Neeson in 2010’s The A-Team and 2014’s The Grey, has been confirmed to helm the project together. The first two instalments of the buddy-cop film series were directed by Michael Bay.
