Yami Gautam, Madhuri Dixit celebrate 'Ganesh Chaturthi' on the sets of 'Dance Deewane'

‘Dance Deewane’ is all about celebrating togetherness and spreading happiness and when its Ganesh Utsav, it is definitely adding to the theme. As we all prepare for bringing Bappa home, Dance Deewane will also be blessed by the divinity with the staphna, rituals as well as visarjan of Shri Ganesha. The stage will be filled with dhol, nagadas and manjeeras as Madhuri Dixit walks with Bappa idol in her palms along with judges Dharmesh Yelande, Tushar Kalia and hosts Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa. 


All the performances will be dedicated to the almighty and will make the environment absolutely mesmerizing. Also celebrating with us will be the leading ladies of Bhoot Police movie Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam. Third generation contestant, Pallavi and Kumar’s fabulous performance will kick start the episode and Pallavi’s mom will give Puran Poli to everyone as prasad for the auspicious day.

Madhuri Dixit will narrate the story of her love for Modak and will say, “Modak making is about family coming together, making it together and it’s about celebrating this great festival.” This will lead to a Modak making session on stage as Madhuri will teach everyone to make it properly.  Not just this, for all the married ladies on set, Madhuri will do a haldi Kumkum rasam, “Ladies apne liye kum, parivaar aur bacho ke liye hi sochti hain. Toh aaj main unke liye ye rasam karna chaahti hu. (Women think less for themselves and more for her family and children. So, I would like to follow this tradition for them)” She will apply haldi and sindoor and also gift beautiful sarees, bindi, bangles as part of the tradition. 

The show will conclude with Ganpati Visarjan on stage with full dhoom dhaam and the prayer of bringing him again the next year. Ganpati Bappa Morya.
