Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh had previously shared screen briefly in the film 'Sooryavanshi' along with Ajay Devgn. The three actors as police officers are part of filmmaker Rohit Shetty's cop universe. Now, the duo of Akshay and Ranveer hasve once again reunited for an ad film.

AKshay Kumar dropped the ad film on Tuesday morning on his social media handle. The ad begin with Ranveer and Akshay try to best each other at showing their strength by lifting weights and playing opposite each other in a game of tug of war. Later, the duo is also seen to compete with their dance skills. However, they unite as army men when it comes to protecting the nation. They are seen saving each other's lives as they fight for the nation.
Looking at the video, fans demanded that the two actors be cast for an action film soon. Reportedly, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh as 'Sooryavanshi' and 'Simmba' will be coming together in 'Singham 3' directed by Rohit Shetty.

As for action film, Akshay will be seen in an out and out action film with Tiger Shroff soon. Titled 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', Akshay and Tiger will be seen packing some punches in the high octane film directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist. Apart from that, Akshay Kumar will next be seen in the film 'OMG 2' directed by Amit Rai. The film will see him play a messenger of God and also stars Pankaj Tripathi and Yami Gautam.
Ranveer Singh, on the other hand, is currently basking in the success of his recently released film 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani'. It marks his first film with Karan Johar as director and his first with the production house-Dharma films. The film also stars Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, and Jaya Bachchan among others. Ranveer is being hailed for his performance as the flamboyant yet caring Rocky Randhawa in the film. The film has crossed Rs 100 crore at the box office in 10 days, making it the sixth film to enter the club this year.
