On Friday, Vishal Dadlani took to his Instagram and shared a video report of the incident and wrote in his cation, "I do not ever support violence, but I absolutely understand the need of this @official_cisf personnel's anger. If any action is taken against her by the CISF, I will ensure that she has a job waiting for her should she choose to accept it. Jai Hind. Jai Jawaan. Jai Kisaan.”
The CISF constable, Kulwinder Kaur, was suspended for her attack on Ranaut. After the report of her suspension surfaced, Vishal took to his Instagram stories and wrote, “Those on Dungana's side, if she had said your Mother is ‘available in 100 Rupees’ what would you do?" In a separate story, he added, “Again if Ms. Kaur is removed from duty someone gets her in touch with me and I will ensure she is gainfully employed.”
Meanwhile, on Friday morning, Kangana Ranaut questioned the silence of the film industry on the matter. "Dear film industry you all are either celebrating or are totally mum on the airport attack on me remember if tomorrow if you walking disarmingly on some street of your country or anywhere else in the world and some Israeli /Palestinian hits you or your children just because you tried to bring eyes to Rafah or stood up for Israeli hostage... then you will see I will be fighting for your rights of free speech, if someday you wonder why I am where I am remember you are not me..."In the now-deleted post, she wrote, "
Hours after the incident on Thursday, Kangana Ranaut took to her social media handle to share a video narrating her side of the story. "I am safe," she said in the video posted on her Twitter and Instagram handle.
"I am safe. I am perfectly fine. The incident that happened at Chandigarh airport happened during the security check. After I stepped out after the security check, the CISF constable who was in the other cabin, hit me on the face from the side. She also abused me. When I asked her why she did it, she said that she supports the farmers protest".
"I am safe but my concern is how do we handle the rising violence and terrorism in Punjab," she added.
