Varun's close friends from the film industry including director Shashank Khaitan, Kunal Kohli, and fashion designer Manish Malhotra stayed in the same five-star guest house with his and Natasha's family.
The couple opted for a highly restricted guest list and a no-phone policy. Apparently, only 50 people were invited to the wedding, and a reception will be held on January 26. Ever since news about the couple's wedding broke out, social media has been flooded with #varunkishadi and other trends, celebrating the happy news.
Speaking about the Coolie No. 1 actor's big day, uncle and veteran actor Anil Dhawan said in an interview, "We are very excited. This is the last marriage in our family from Varun's generation. Rohit (Dhawan, Varun's elder brother) got married, my children got married and my elder brother's kids are also married. Toh yeh complete circle ho jayega (this will be a complete circle). We are just doing the rituals among our families and not doing any big bang."
Varun-Natasha have known each other since their school days. The two fell in love when they met at a music concert years later. However, the duo has always kept their relationship low-key. Varun publicly acknowledged that he is dating Natasha when he posted a photo featuring himself with his girlfriend on her birthday in 2019.
