Earlier this month, Vaani Kapoor kicked off the shoot of Raid 2 opposite Ajay Devgn. Director Raj Kumar Gupta’s sequel to the 2018 crime thriller of the same name isn’t the only big-ticket project in her kitty. Kapoor is looking forward to a professionally fulfilling 2024 as she has bagged another project with a superstar. However, she keeps the cards close to her chest, only revealing, “Raid 2 alongside Ajay Devgn promises to be a tremendous learning experience that will enrich my journey as an actor. Simultaneously, I’ve embarked on a big-ticket venture with a superstar. Unfortunately, the project’s announcement is shrouded in secrecy, preventing me from divulging details.”

Besides the two movies, Kapoor has a big-screen offering in debutant director Sonali Rattan’s Sarvagunn Sampanna. The social comedy is set in the ’90s and sees the actor as the doppelgänger of a well-known star, leading to hilarious results. Digital entertainment has also come calling as she headlines YRF’s web series, Mandala Murders. It is the diversity of the four projects that has the artiste in her curious and excited. Kapoor says, “Sarvagunn Sampanna will offer audiences a glimpse into one of my most multifaceted roles. Plus, I’m stepping into the world of streaming with Mandala Murders, helmed by Gopi Puthran, who is known for his work on Mardaani 2 [2019]. I’m eager for audiences to witness the diversity and strength I like to bring to [the table] as an actor.”
