Hi Warina! What are your Diwali plans?
I will be in Lucknow for Diwali and am eagerly looking forward to every bit of it.
Do you believe in gifting or getting gifts during Diwali?
I had hosted a pre-Diwali celebration at my house yesterday, and I organized a gift-opening session where everyone had to read aloud the personalized letters and gifts I had given them. The entire activity was so overwhelming. I enjoy giving gifts because the joy I feel when I make someone else happy is priceless.

Do you burst firecrackers during the festival or do you believe in sound and smoke pollution-free Diwali?
For me, it’s definitely a smoke-pollution free Diwali. I make an effort to use less and responsibly but that too eco-friendly firecrackers but festival hai toh….thoda shor aur sound toh banta hai!

What does Diwali mean to you?
For me, it’s all about prayers and blessings as it’s an auspicious time.
What new and exciting stuff have you planned for Diwali this year?
I am designing my own Diwali lehenga. We are currently bleaching the fabric and the entire process is so much fun, wait for the pictures!
