Sunny Deol is basking in the success of his recently released film 'Gadar 2'. The film has collected over Rs 200 crore at the Indian box office in just 5 days. On Independence Day alone, the film collected Rs 55 crore. The film has brought out the housefull board signs in several theatres. The film, is the sequel of the memorable and successful 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha' of 2001.

Sunny Deol has been visiting theatres across the country to experience live reaction by the audience. During one of his visit to the city, the actor was encountered by a fan at an airport who wanted a selfie with him. In the video, Deol is seen hurriedly walking inside an airport surrounded by his security team. A man runs towards Sunny with his phone in his hand to click a picture. He requests the actor for a selfie. However, when the fan took a little longer to click the photo, Sunny snapped at him saying, "Arey le na photo." Later, his guard pushed the fan away and the actor walked on.

A few days back, a video of Deol getting mobbed went viral. He was trying to make his way out as a sea of fans approached him. The mob also included two female fans who got excited on seeing him and tried to desperately sneak into a picture. The actor got a selfie clicked with a man. One of the women tried to squeeze herself into the photo and grabbed the actor by his arm. Maintaining his cool, he took a step back and indicated at the woman to be quiet. After Sunny got visibly uncomfortable, his security officers stepped in and made way for him to reach his vehicle. After handling the situation patiently, Sunny smiled at the paparazzi and greeted them with a polite namaste. Take a look at the video here:

Meanwhile, 'Gadar 2' has been having a dream run at the box office. The film shattered all predictions and collected over Rs 40 core on day 1. On Sunday and Independence Day, the film collected over Rs 50 crore. In three days, the film collected Rs 100 crore and crossed Rs 200 crore in just 5 days at the Indian box office.
'Gadar 2', directed by Anil Sharma, also stars Ameesha Patel and Utkarsh Sharma. It is produced by Zee Studios. The film is a sequel to Gadar which was a blockbuster in 2001. Gadar 2 released in theatres on August 11, 2023.
