The promotions of Gadar 2 are in full swing. Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel are travelling to various states and cities across the country. After Amritsar, the duo went to Delhi. Utkarsh Sharma, Gaurav Chopra, Simrat Kaur, and director Anil Sharma joined them for a musical night with Udit Narayan.
The makers of Gadar 2 organised a special event in Delhi last evening to celebrate its music and chartbuster songs. The film has reprised songs like Ghar Aaja Pardesi Ke Teri Meri Ek Jindri and Main Nikla Gaddi Leke from Gadar. At the musical event, Udit and music director-singer Mithoon crooned the euphonious songs of the India-Pakistan action drama.

Sunny, who plays Tara Singh in Gadar 2, wore a light blue kurta and matched it with a white pyjama. He tied a white turban to bring alive his look from the film. Ameesha a.k.a Sakina looked stunning in a yellow sharara. Utkarsh wore a black Pathani suit. He plays the role of Jeet in his father Anil Sharma's directorial.
Reportedly, over 10,000 fans attended this one-of-a-kind music night, witnessing some of the best performances to celebrate 20 years of Gadar and discuss the highly anticipated Gadar 2. The crowd hooted, shouted and enjoyed the magical night to celebrate the iconic music album of Gadar: Ek Prem Katha and Gadar 2.
Before interacting with fans in Delhi, Sunny along with Ameesha and Udit met people at the Attari Border. The actor-turned-politician offered prayers at the Golden Temple as they embarked on the film's promotion.
Helmed by director-producer Anil Sharma, and produced by Zee Studios, Gadar 2 stars also stars Manish Wadhwa and Luv Sinha. The movie is scheduled to release in cinemas on August 11, 2023. It will be releasing with Akshay Kumar's OMG 2 on the Independence Day weekend.
Gadar was released in 2001. A few months before the sequel, the makers re-released it in theatres across the country. The teaser of Gadar 2 was attached to the film. Speaking of music, Arijit Singh has sung songs like Khairiyat and Dil Jhoom. While the former was released on July 18, the latter is yet to be unveiled.
