After having made her mark in Bollywood as an actress, Somy Ali is present in the US, where she runs an NGO called ‘No More Tears’

The appointment of Rishi Sunak’s as UK’s Prime Minister is definitely a proud moment for every Indian.  Mid-Day Online caught up with Somy Ali, who shared her thoughts about the proud moment.

Somy said, “Anywhere we see someone who is a minority gain a position of power, it makes me beyond ecstatic. This is progression at its best the way. Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone have become the biggest crossover actors from India not only in the US, but universally. I am very happy and proud to see our world taking these turns for the better of its future"
