Himanshu Malhotra is in the news for his recent performance as Major Rajeev Kapoor in Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani-starrer 'Shershaah'.

The actor's performance in the film has been quite praise-worthy and the audience and critics have applauded his work. Himanshu has a number of scenes in the film, one where he is seen telling Sidharth Malhotra, aka Vikram Batra, about certain things. He is also seen on-screen towards the end when Vikram Batra’s last rites are being performed and is seen shouting the war cry.

Speaking about the feedback that he has received from friends and family, Himanshu says, ”It’s been great and I am so happy that my role has been appreciated by the audience. In both the scenes, my voice has been utilised very well. Accolades have been pouring in from all corners. People from various cities across the world have commented on my authentic look. That’s very warm feedback and also close to my heart. While shooting the film I had a great time. And now when people are appreciating our work it feels even better.”
