  2. Now, it has been reported that the film will release during Christmas 2023
  3. Shah Rukh Khan`s third film of the year, Dunki, is also set to release during Christmas

Prabhas's upcoming film 'Salaar' was earlier scheduled to release this week. However, the makers decided to postpone the release of the film from its initial date of September 28, 2023. Prashant Neel's film is a hugely anticipated magnum opus coming from the prestigious production company Hombale Films, the makers of 'Kantara' and 'KGF'. Now, one hears that the makers are planning to release the film during Christmas 2023. This means, the film will clash with Shah Rukh Khan's third film of the year, 'Dunki', directed by Rajkumar Hirani.

Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his 'X' handle and wrote, "YES, IT’S TRUE… SRK VS PRABHAS, ‘DUNKI’ VS ‘SALAAR’ THIS CHRISTMAS… The exhibitors have received a mail stating that #Salaar will arrive THIS CHRISTMAS [on 22 Dec 2023]… An official announcement by the producers, #HombaleFilms, will be made on Friday [29 Sept 2023]."

"This is the SECOND TIME #HombaleFilms is clashing with #SRK… In 2018 [#Christmas], it was #Zero vs #KGF [first part]. SRK had already blocked #Christmas [22 Dec 2023] for #Dunki… And now #Prabhas also stakes claim on 22 Dec 2023," he added.

'Salaar' is moving at a fast pace in its post-production stage, and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to make the actioner a grand experience for the masses across the nation and the globe. Earlier, announcing the delay in the release of 'Salaar', the makers posted on social media, "We deeply appreciate your unwavering support for #Salaar. With consideration, we must delay the original September 28 release due to unforeseen circumstances. Please understand this decision is made with care, as we're committed to delivering an exceptional cinematic experience. Our team is working tirelessly to meet the highest standards. The new release date will be revealed in due course. Stay with us as we make the final touches on #SalaarCeaseFire and thank you for being a part of this incredible journey."

'Salaar: Part 1 Ceasefire' is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated films, and with the massive response to the teaser and the posters, everyone was eagerly awaiting the film. The humongous buzz, excitement and anticipation surrounding Salaar Part 1 has grown manifold ever since the makers launched the teaser of the movie on 6th July, 2023. Following the response to the teaser and the massive buzz around the film, the makers are ensuring to deliver a larger-than-life and unforgettable cinematic experience in all formats.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan has proven to be the undisputable King of Box office with the record breaking performance of his films 'Pathaan' and Jawan'. 'Dunki' will see Khan in a  completely different role as he collaborates with filmmaker Rajkumar Hirani for the first time. The filmmaker has had a 100 percent success rate so far with his films 'Munnabhai MBBS', 'PK', and 'Sanju' doing well at the box office
