Suhana Khan has recently made her big Bollywood debut with Zoya Akhtar and Reema Kagti’s ‘The Archies’ alongside Khushi Kapoor, Agastya Nanda, and others. After her first film, it was reported that the actress would collaborate with her dad Shah Rukh Khan himself for her next film, ‘King’’. There were rumours that Suhana Khan’s next film would be with Shah Rukh Khan and Sujoy Ghosh was supposedly directing it.

This news of the father-daughter duo collaborating made all of King Khan’s fans super happy, but later reports claimed that the film is not happening anymore. Now new developments suggest that the Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan starrer will go on floors by May 2024. As per Pinkvilla reports, a source close to the development revealed, “Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh have been constantly in touch with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan with multiple meetings from October 2023 to February 2024. Sujoy is meticulously working on the script with Sid and SRK. Designing world-class action sequences rests fully on Siddharth”.
The source further added that Suhana Khan has already started her prep work with action teams at Mannat. “The training is happening at Mannat and she is accompanied by her father, Shah Rukh Khan too in certain practice sessions. Trainers of international repute are coming together to train Suhana and SRK, as King will explore a slightly raw form of action,” the source added.
“Sujoy has started casting for the ensemble cast as the idea is to take off from May 2024 and make it the big ticket offing from SRK in 2025,” the source added.
Recently, during a promotional visit to Saudi Arabia, Shah Rukh Khan gave an interview to MBC Bollywood, where he discussed his two kids, Aryan Khan and Suhana Khan. While emphasizing that joining the industry was Aryan and Suhana’s own decision, Shah Rukh shared, “I’m happy that now that they themselves are into films and it’s a choice they made. Me and Gauri as a family, never told them to do this or that, free to choose what they wish to. One of them chose to be an actor, my daughter. My son decided to learn direction so both of them are in films. Son is directing the film, the daughter has already acted in one film.”
