After making her acting debut in Kabeer Khurana’s short film Suttabaazi, which dropped digitally last month, Renee Sen also features in Khurana’s next, Dramayama. Her co-star in the short film is Darsheel Safary, who is best remembered as the buck-toothed kid in Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par (2007). Now, he’s 23 and Sen appears to have particularly enjoyed shooting with him.

She posted a photograph from the set and wrote, “You are kind, funny, helpful and amazing. So happy I worked with you because I know that it has made me a better actor and person. In a recent interview, Renee Sen spoke about being Sushmita Sen's daughter and how that comes with a big responsibility. She shared, "I'm not running away from my surname. I know it comes with a lot of responsibility and the love I'm getting is because of my mother, the kind of work she has done. But I'm not taking the pressure or else I won't be able to do a single day's job. And, I'll never take it for granted, nor will I allow anybody else to take it for granted."
Renee also shared how Sushmita told her if she wanted to act, she must figure it out herself. "So I'm doing it step-by-step. If it's easy, would I have valued it enough? I don't think so. I'm aware of the uncertainties of this profession," Renee said.
