Anushka Sharma and daughter Vamika are accompanying Virat Kohli as he headed to England for the World Test Championship along with the team. The actor was spotted at Mumbai airport on Wednesday night along with team members and their families.

Though bundled up, the baby carrier provided just a wee glimpse of Vamika’s face.

As the pictures and videos went viral, many criticised the paparazzi for clicking the child's pictures, especially for using flashlights. "When will you learn to respect the child’s privacy and not respecting the parents’ stand," wrote a user. Another one tweeted, "Virat looks like he's gonna hunt down the media if they ever dare take a picture of Vamika." This comes after the couple had written a note to the paparazzi fraternity in Mumbai, a few months ago. urging them to respect their daughter’s privacy. Expressing their gratitude, Anushka and Virat Kohli said they are thankful for all the love being showered on them. "As parents, we have a simple request to make to you. We want to protect the privacy of our child and we need your help and support," the couple said in the statement. They further assured the paparazzi they will share the "content" at the right time.
During an Instagram live session with his 122 million followers last week, a fan asked Kohli: “What is the meaning of Vamika? How is she? Can we see a glimpse of her please.” Kohli refused to share a picture of his daughter and replied: “Vamika is another name for Goddess Durga. No, we have decided as a couple to not expose our child to social media before she has an understanding of what social media is and can make her own choice.”
Anushka and Virat had announced the arrival of their daughter, Vamika on January 11.
