Sara Ali Khan helps Sonu Sood's Covid relief foundation; the latter dubbs the actress as a 'hero'

Sara Ali Khan has not only contributed towards Sonu Sood’s charity foundation for Covid relief but has been consistently amplifying and giving a shout-out to Covid relief requirements and resources on her social media, as well.

Amid a surge in Covid-19 cases, India is fighting hard against the coronavirus pandemic. While a lot of celebs from the film fraternity are coming forward and doing their bit to help the citizen in the testing times, the latest act of solidarity comes from Sara Ali Khan. The actress has extended her support and donated a significant amount to Sonu Sood’s charity foundation for purchasing more oxygen cylinders for those in dire need.

Sara has been consistently amplifying and giving a shout-out to Covid relief requirements and resources on her social media. Truly, the young actress is doing her bit towards society in these tough times and continues to be a source of inspiration to many.

Everyone including celebrities is constantly appealing on social media to donate various relief funds to help India. On Saturday, a record 4,187 COVID-19 fatalities in a day took India's death toll to 2,38,270, while 4,01,078 new infections were reported during the period, pushing the tally of cases to 2,18,92,676, according to Union Health Ministry data.
