Sanjay builds makeshift gym on Ghudchadi’s set to adopt muscular build, as he kicks off shoot in Rajasthan

After a long holiday in the US, it’s all work on Sanjay Dutt’s mind. Earlier this week, the actor kicked off the shoot of Ghudchadi, a comedy that reunites him with his frequent co-star of the ’90s, Raveena Tandon. mid-day has learnt that Dutt has built a makeshift gym on the set of Binoy Gandhi’s directorial venture in Rajasthan so that he can quickly lose the vacation weight and regain his muscular build. The family comedy, which also stars Parth Samthaan and Aruna Irani, sees Dutt as a former Army officer. A source reveals, “In keeping with his role, he has to achieve a muscular and robust look. Dutt began filming on February 20. He is clocking 10 hours at the shoot every day, but is ensuring that he hits the gym twice a day. The equipment has been curated as per the actor’s requirements, in consultation with his trainer.”

Gandhi has charted a month-long schedule. The source adds, “Dutt will be in Rajasthan till mid-March. As soon as he returns to Mumbai, he is expected to kick off another film. Towards the last leg of Ghudchadi, he will begin the physical prep for his next.”
