Arjun Kapoor in 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar'
In one of the sequences in 'Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar', Arjun Kapoor is seen cross-dressing. His look was inspired by the Chholiya dancers of Uttarakhand in Dibakar Banerjee’s directorial venture. Makeup artist Sanah Kewal informs, “I had a chat with Dibakar who agreed that it would look great on him. We did a trial and Arjun was both happy and stunned at how he looked. It’s so important to have an actor who allows you the freedom to experiment.”
Co-star Parineeti Chopra was mighty impressed that Kapoor, who is 6 foot tall and broad-shouldered, could carry off the drag scene with aplomb.

‘Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar’ film marks the third collaboration between the lead actors Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra after they starred together in Ishaqzaade (2012) and Namaste England (2018). The film is written and directed by Dibakar Banerjee and produced by Yash Raj Films.
