RRR Box-Office: Ram Charan and Junior NTR's film roars on Day 2, collects Rs 23.75 crore in Hindi

SS Rajamouli's 'RRR' has received a thunderous response at the box-office. The film amassed a whooping Rs 223 crore worldwide on its opening day. SS Rajamouli's magnum opus is headed for a blockbuster status.


As far as the Hindi version is collected, it collected Rs 23.75 crore on Day 2. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted- "#RRR *HINDI* RRRoars on Day 2... Glowing word of mouth has come into play... Multiplexes witness BIG GAINS on Day 2... Single screens ROCKING... Expect BIGGERRR GROWTH on Day 3, should hit ₹ 70+ cr weekend... Fri 20.07 cr, Sat 23.75 cr. Total: ₹ 43.82 cr. #India biz."



The magnum opus, which also stars Ajay Devgn and Alia Bhatt, became India's biggest-ever opener after overtaking 'Baahubali 2', which had made Rs 217 crore worldwide on its opening day.

Set in pre-independence India, 'RRR' is a fictional take on the younger days of celebrated freedom fighters, Komaram Bheem and Alluri Seetharama Raju, portrayed by Jr. NTR and Ram Charan.

The movie also features Samuthirakani, Olivia Morris, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson. 

Congratulating the team of director S.S. Rajamouli's magnum opus 'RRR' for making a film that was 'epic', Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu on Saturday said the "scale, grandeur, visuals, music and emotions" of the film were "unimaginable, breathtaking and simply stunning."

Taking to Twitter to register his thoughts on the just released film, which has already gone on to emerge as India's biggest blockbuster, Mahesh Babu, said, "There are films and then there are SS Rajamouli films! 'RRR' E.P.I.C!! The scale, grandeur visuals, music & emotions are unimaginable, breathtaking and simply stunning!
