Raj Kundra reacts to allegations of trying to whitewash his image with biographical drama 'UT69'

Since the announcement of 'UT69', Raj Kundra has been on the receiving end that he is trying to whitewash his image with this film. Now finally Raj has broken the silence on the allegations

Shilpa Shetty's husband, Raj Kundra, made several headlines when he was accused of shooting and streaming pornographic content. The businessman has since used a mask to cover his face whenever he made a public appearance. Now, finally, Raj Kundra has decided to lift his mask and show the reality. Kundra is debuting with a film based on his life, 'UT69.'

Since the announcement of the movie, Raj has been on the receiving end that he is trying to whitewash his image with this film. Now finally, Raj has broken silence on the allegations. In his recent interview with Pinkvilla the businessman shared, "I think the trailer shows that it's not a whitewash. Allowing the director to have so much bad said about me because he read the notes, he read everything that I wrote inside. I made a diary of each and everything that happened inside."

Reflecting on a particular incident from his time in jail, Kundra revealed, "These things happen, when Shilpa is on TV, they're like, 'Arre she's looking damn h*t,' and somebody said, 'Arre uska pati yaha baitha hai chup kar' (‘Her husband is sitting here, shut up’). So, I had to go through that. It was the class of life of the people around me, that's their understanding and thought. Unki samajh utne level tak hi hai (Their level of understanding is that much only). So, I was okay with it."

For the unversed, Debutant Kundra's wife and popular actress Shilpa Shetty took to her Instagram to launch the trailer of the film. In the trailer, Raj Kundra can be seen taking on the role of himself as he embarks on a journey to show the world his reality. While posting the video, Shilpa wrote “All the best, Cookie You’re a brave man… that’s what I admire the most about you! Here’s to your gumption and positivity! @onlyrajkundra
