At the start of the year, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh announced that they are expecting their first child in September. The couple tied the knot in 2018. It was on Monday when the actress debuted her adorable baby bump for the first time in public as she stepped out to vote with her husband. Despite a loose-fitting shirt, Deepika's baby bum was noticeable. Four days after the voting appearance, Deepika took to social media to share new pictures of herself.

Deepika dropped gorgeous pictures of herself dressed in a yellow sundress with her baby bump making an adorable appearance. The actress decked up for an event in the city to promote her skincare brand. She looked radiant as ever in the flowy ane length dress. Deepika completed the look with her hair in a bun, soft glam makeup, and cute pearl earrings dangling from her ears.

Deepika went live on Instagram where she happily spoke about the availability of her brand's products at a store in Mumbai. However, fans were way too taken away by Deepika's glow and beauty. Internet users gushed over her glow and called it the most magical phase of her life. "Sooo cutieeee Nazar na Lage”, whereas another fan gushed, “My queen, pregnancy has made her more beautiful.”

Deepika Padukone's pregnant walk invites criticism from trolls

Recently, Deepika Padukone was seen voting in the 2024 Lok Sabha Election, proudly displaying her bump. However, after this appearance, some people online trolled her and even accused her of faking the bump.

Journalist Faye D’Souza criticized the trolls in a recent post, and many people, including Alia Bhatt, supported her stance. Faye took to Instagram to express her strong opinion against those trolling Deepika Padukone. In her post, she told people to behave and pointed out that Deepika was simply performing her civic duty by voting. She also mentioned that the actress didn't ask for anyone's opinions on her pregnancy.

Alia Bhatt, her mother Soni Razdan, Rakul Preet Singh, Sonakshi Sinha, Bhumi Pednekar, and others liked the post.
