Malaika Arora celebrated Onam with her family in Mumbai. On the occasion of the last day of Onam, the actress took to her social media to share glimpses from her celebration with her family. Malaika Arora and her sister Amrita Arora are half Malayalees as their mother Joyce Arora in from Kerala.
On Tuesday, Malaika took to her Instagram feed to share candid pictures from their Onam celebration at home along with pictures of the delicious Kerala sadya. "Happy onam. wishing everyone a very happy n prosperous onam ….. momsy you r the worlds best cook and feeding friends n family makes you the happiest," wrote Malaika sharing the pictures.

In the first picture, Malaika is seen posing with her mother and sister Amrita Arora near their dining table. The dining table has banana leaf spread out in front of each chair with a couple of dishes on them. The second picture of a festive pookalam (flower rangoli). The third photo is of the sadya spread out on the dining table with all the traditional Kerala dishes.
Malaika also posted videos of the dishes being cooked at home by her mother. The last picture has guests sleeping on the bed after a hearty meal.
Reacting to the post, Farah Khan Kunder who is a close friend of Malaika wrote, "Call us also na one day Kameeniiii".
Onam is an annual Indian harvest festival celebrated by people from the state of Kerala. It also marks According to Hindu legends, Onam is celebrated in Kerala in remembrance of the good governance under the rule of asura king Mahabali, a mythical king.
The actress recently made headlines for her alleged breakup with Arjun Kapoor. After she shared a couple of cryptic quotes, netizens speculated that the couple had broken up. However, on Sunday, Malaika and Arjun enjoyed a meal at Veronica's in Bandra and dined together at a plush eatery later in the day. Quashing rumours, Malaika and Arjun assured their fans that they're still together. The two have been dating for quite some years. Often times, rumours of the two planning to tie the knot also surfaces.
