Now, hours later, Nushrratt reached home safely this afternoon. She was seen at the Mumbai airport. The actress appeared stressed and worried as she made her way through a sea of paparazzi. Nushrratt refused to give any statement at the moment. She fought back her tears as she landed amid heavy security.
When Nushrratt was stranded in Israel, her team issued a statement that read, "Nushrratt has been unfortunately stranded in Israel. She had flown there to attend the Haifa International Film Festival. The last time that I managed to get in touch with her was around 12.30 pm earlier today (Saturday), when she was safe in a basement. For safety measures, further details cannot be disclosed. However, since then, we were not able to connect. We are trying to get Nushrratt back safely to India and hope she returns back in the best of health and unharmed."
Hours later, her publicist confirmed, "We have finally managed to get in touch with Nushrratt and with the help of the Embassy, she is being safely brought back home. We did not get a direct flight so she is on a connecting flight home. For her further safety, more details cannot be shared but as soon as she lands in India, we will inform you. We are relieved and thank god that she is safe and on her way to India."
Sometime later, another statement cited, "Nushrratt has finally boarded the flight for India and is on her way back home. She will be landing in Mumbai at 2:00 pm."
On Saturday, Hamas militants attacked Israel using motorcycles, pickup trucks, boats, paragliders, and mid-range rockets and launched a highly coordinated attack, sneaking into Israeli cities, hitting military bases, and killing and taking hostage soldiers and civilians. Reports claim that at least 200 people were killed and hundreds of others injured. Several people were rescued and taken to safer places.
