Filmmaker Farah Khan, Neha Dhupia and Mukesh Chhabra’s digital show, which sees content creators upload homemade-videos and showcase fresh digital content related to travel, fashion, and comedy, among other categories, is prepping for its grand finale on June 25 in Mumbai. The trio will choose the winner from 18 finalists, and also announce the second season on a video-sharing platform.

Khan says the industry is itching to return to work, and is ready to take all precautions to facilitate a smooth filming process. “I am double-vaccinated and careful. We are following all safety precautions, and testing our staff and ourselves. The grand finale will be live-recorded, and streamed on YouTube a day later,” she says, adding that the finalists have been chosen from several lakh entries across India.

“I held a master-class in which I told them what I was looking for, how the video must be shot, and presented, and how the lighting must be done.”
Dhupia is eager to attend an in-person event after months spent in lockdown. “It is a joy to return to familiar territory. [I miss] being in a vanity van, the hustle-bustle of a set, and simply working. I looked into fitness, fashion and lifestyle content, while Mukesh took over those involving acting, drama and performing arts. The fact that you are given this position of responsibility [is assuring]. We encouraged creators to use their voice and believe in what they wish to say. That keeps people interested. Video-sharing social media services have so many different categories.”
