How did you kick off the season?

The best way I possibly could, I was in the middle of making a song.

What food or drink do you indulge in during the monsoon?

Steaming hot black coffee! That’s my drink for all seasons.

What is your favourite place to visit in Mumbai during the monsoon?

Marine Drive has been a favourite since I was a kid and still is!

Cafe or restaurant recommendations in the city to enjoy this season?

Any place that has a sea view!

Monsoon memories in Mumbai...

Hanging out near the University of Mumbai with my college friends and relishing hot vada pavs with steaming chai. Nothing can beat those simple joys.

Holiday plans...

Khandala

Choice of outfits for the season...

My hoodie and tracks– all-black, always!

Favourite rain song on your playlist?

Labon Se Baat – my latest single, is the perfect soundtrack for this weather. I recently made a monsoon playlist on Spotify where you can listen to some of my other favourite rain songs.

Movies to binge watch while stuck at home...

Shawshank Redemption and basically all Morgan Freeman films.

The part you don't enjoy about the monsoon

I don't like seeing dogs and cats getting wet on the streets, it breaks my heart.
