Milan Luthria's multi-starrer 'Baadshaho' starring Emraan Hashmi, Ajay Devgn, Ileana D'cruz, Vidyut Jammwal and Esha Gupta has been raking in good numbers at the Box Office and from the audience. Especially Emraan's 'Daliya' character of a Rajasthani guide has been loved by everyone the most.

We had Emraan in the house at Mid-Day, where he interacted with his millions of fans on Facebook, via a live interview:

Here are some interesting anecdotes given by the versatile Emraan at the Facebook Live interview:

On Baadshaho's good run at the Box Office?
The film is doing exceedingly well at the Box Office. Everyone related to the film has done a fantastic job. I'm really happy that 'Baadshaho' is liked by all and I'm especially loving the reactions that I'm receiving for my Daliya's character. I knew that we had a plus point in this film, which is that it's somewhere rooted to our culture around the emergency period era.

Apprehensions about the film; will it fit the audiences' bill?
There's no fear about it. There's just a concern that when you make a film, you want everyone to accept it and like it. Eventually, everyone has a perception about the film, but at the end of the day no one knows if the film is good or bad, unless audience gives its verdict and a thumbs-up to it.

What hit the chord with the audience for 'Baadshaho'?
Entertainment, 'Baadshaho' is a film that promises entertainment. Everyone has performed well in it. You go for two hours to watch a film and escape into a very different world that's created.

People's reaction after delivering flops?
If you listen to people then that's the end of your journey as an actor. There's no actor in the history of cinema who has not had flop films. So, I'm in good company. The idea of giving a flop film is that you learn from it. I actually thank God for those flop films; they've helped me grow as an actor.

I can't guarantee a hit over a flop. Some films work and some don't. Even the films which haven't done well, I've given my 100% in it.

Is Emraan a director's actor?
Not really. Even if I don't have a director on the set, I can play the entire character from the first scene to the last scene. But that doesn't mean that the director doesn't have his contribution. It's very important. But you can't be spoon-fed. Some actors like that, I don't. So, I ask all the questions before to get to know the director's vision.

Toughest role?
'Shanghai.' It was a very earthy character, who lives in Latur and I've never been to Latur, neither do I know anyone from there. So, getting into the skin of the character was very tough. For that, we did a lot of workshops.

Emraan, who is currently enjoying the success of 'Baadshaho' is at the same time busy with his next film 'Captain Nawab,' produced by the star himself.
