The makers of the much anticipated ‘Mere Desh Ki Dharti’ revealed the first look of its lead star, the current digital rage Divyenndu. Over the years, Divyenndu, as we all know, has impressed us with his entertaining acts in movies like ‘Pyaar Ka Punchnama’, ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ and the very successful series ‘Mirzapur’ and is now all set for his next release.

‘Mere Desh Ki Dharti’, starring Divyenndu along with Anant Vidhaat, Anupria Goenka in the lead is directed by Faraz Haider and is produced by Vaishali Sarwankar under the banner of Carnival Motion Pictures. The movie’s extended cast includes Inaamulhaq, Brijendra Kala, Rajesh Sharma, Atul Shrivastava, Farrukh Jafar amongst others in significant roles.

Divyendu on the launch of the first look of his film shares, “It’s been really fun working on Mere Desh Ki Dharti, right from the script to the dialogues, then the whole shooting in Bhopal in that village where the villagers treated us so nicely. I remember it was damn cold during the days when we were shooting, so those cold chilly nights I remember when we were shooting. The place was absolutely majestic, there was something very positive about the whole village where we shot the film.”

He further adds, “I really cherish my association with the carnival group. Both Mr. Shrikant and  Vaishali Sarwankar have been very cooperative and supportive. I am really grateful to them for making me part of this project. This film is very close to my heart and that’s why I am very protective about this film. I really want it to reach out to as many people as possible, especially the farmers so maybe whatever we have done in the film if that could inspire them, not solve but assist them in any way in their problems would be a great start. This is a special one for me and especially in the current scenario.  With what’s happening with the farmers, it becomes even more important. The film talks about how city life and village life come together and flourish.  It is imperative to think about our farmers, what they are going through and how we can contribute to their life."
