Madhu Chopra on Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s divorce rumours: It’s all rubbish

The actress’ mother has given out a statement and stated that there’s no truth in the rumours doing the rounds that Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are heading for a divorce

Priyanka Chopra removed the surname Jonas from her name on her Instagram account and divorce rumours with Nick Jonas began doing the rounds on social media. However, the actress’ mother Madhu Chopra has now issued a statement and refuted such reports. 

While speaking to News18, she said, “It’s all rubbish, don’t spread rumours.” Priyanka and Nick performed Lakshmi puja at their home in Los Angeles on the occasion of Diwali.

Priyanka took to Instagram to share a glimpse of her puja with their fans and followers. The actress chose a lemon coloured saree, while Nick looked dapper in a kurta-pyjama.

For the caption, Priyanka wrote: "Ya devi sarvabhuteshu Lakshmi rupena sangsthita. Namastasye namastasye namastasye namo namaha."

Priyanka also shared a glimpse from a Diwali party she celebrated with Mindy Kaling and Lily Singh.

Talking about her work, Priyanka is currently busy with 'Citadel'.

Helmed by 'Avengers' makers Joe and Anthony Russo, 'Citadel' is a spy thriller series co-starring Richard Madden, and is billed as a global event for OTT.
