Karan Johar's latest offering 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani' has become a hit among movie lovers. The film starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt was loved for its music, romance, plot, dialogues and lot more. One of the things that stood out even before the release of the film was Alia Bhatt's costumes in the film. The actress who plays a strong header news anchor in the film is seen wearing stunning sarees throughout barring a couple of scenes.

Ace fashion designer Manish Malhotra is the creative behind the gorgeous sarees donned by Alia Bhatt in the film. Through the promotion spree of the film as well Bhatt was seen wearing these stunning looks.
While several were trying to recreate the 'Rani' look and hunting replica of the sarees, Alia Bhatt announced that she would be putting the sarees up for sales, the one worn by her at the promotional event in collaboration with Manish Malhotra. All sarees were sold out in minutes.

Days after the release of 'Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani', Alia announced the 13th edition of MiSu, a wardrobe sharing initiative to sell her much loved sarees. The proceeds collected through the sale were given to the charity, SNEHA, an organization known for preventive and promotive healthcare for vulnerable women and children. But did you know how much the sarees cost? The light weight, breezy sarees were priced between Rs 48000 and Rs 58000. While the price was on the higher end, the website saw a lot of footfall and all the pieces were sold out in a matter of minutes.
The red pink colour clocked Chiffon saree costs Rs 48000 while famous Rani Pink ruffle saree is also priced the same. The Dawn Ombree Chiffon saree set is worth Rs 54000 while pink green colour block saree set is worth Rs 58000.
Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’ is about a unique love story between a colourful yet dimwitted Punjabi lad and an educated and confident Bengali girl. In a recent interview with Film Companion, filmmaker Karan Johar discussed the possibilities of a sequel and 'Rocky aur Rani's life post-marriage life. "You know we discussed a part 2. We used to chat about it – Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh and me. We were like ‘What has got to be the story because these two deserve a spin-off’. I am like ‘Who knows!' We imagined a story. We actually have a kind of story, but we don't know it. This was too nascent a thought. Definitely, I see Rocky and Rani living somewhere in Delhi, but away from their parents. Because now they know that even though the backseat driving is being done by the family, they are okay. They are in decent control of the front seat."
