Kangana Ranaut won the Lok Sabha election in 2024 from the Mandi constituency. The Bollywood actress-turned-politician is on cloud nine as she has won with good numbers. After her victory, Ranaut said it was ‘a victory of faith in Prime Minister Narendra Modi.’

After the results for Mandi were announced, Kangana took to her Twitter and posted a collage, writing, "Heartfelt gratitude to all Mandi residents for their support, love, and trust. This victory belongs to all of you, it's a victory of faith in Prime Minister Modi and BJP, it's a victory of Sanatan, it's a victory of the honour of Mandi."

The Tanu Weds Manu actress won the Lok Sabha election by a margin of 74,755 votes, according to the Election Commission of India. After her victory, Anupam Kher took to his Instagram and congratulated the actress. Kher while dropping a video, wrote, "My dearest #Kangana! CONGRATULATIONS on your HUGE Victory! You are a #ROCKSTAR. Your journey is so so inspirational! So happy for you and the people of #Mandi and #HimachalPradesh. You have proved time and again that if one is focused and works hard तो “कुछ भी हो सकता है”! जय हो!". Jackie Shroff also reacted to the video and wrote, 'Bhidu' in the comment section.

Earlier in the morning, Kangana had posted a picture of her mother feeding her curd to wish her luck. Along with the picture, she wrote, "Mother is the form of God, today my mother is feeding me curd and sugar."

Kangana Ranaut contested her first-ever election from her hometown of Mandi in Himachal Pradesh and emerged as a winner. Speaking at a public meeting on April 4, Kangana stated that the BJP is not led by leaders but by its workers. On the work front, the 'Chandramukhi' actress is all set to reunite with actor R Madhavan for an upcoming pan-India psychological thriller film. The movie will be directed by 'Thalaivii' director Vijay. R Madhavan and Kangana previously collaborated in 'Tanu Weds Manu' and 'Tanu Weds Manu Returns'.
