The actress expressed, "They (Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma) are such wonderful support to each other." Reflecting on the joy that reflects on Anushka's face while Virat plays, she commented, "It’s beautiful to see that."


On Katrina's work front, Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi's upcoming film 'Merry Christmas,' directed by Sriram Raghavan is all set to illuminate the silver screens on January 12, 2024. The film was earlier set to release in theatres on December 8, 2023. It was also supposed to clash with Sidharth Malhotra, Disha Patani, and Raashi Khanna's 'Yodha'. However, action drama has also been postponed to March,.

In a joint statement shared by the makers of Merry Christmas, the team have expressed their deep love for this project and their unwavering commitment to delivering a truly exceptional cinematic experience, said,  “We have made this film with a lot of love and passion like every filmmaker does. However, with the back-to-back movie releases and packed last two months of 2023, we have taken the decision to extend the season of joy and bring our film to the theatres on 12th January 2024”.

The month of December will start with the release of two big films- Ranbir Kapoor's Animal and Vicky Kaushal's Sam Bahadur. While both films are of different genres ad headlined by the top stars of the country, a clash usually does not bring the best outcomes. Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Animal is his second Hindi directorial after the superhit film Kabir Singh. The film also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna and Bobby Deol. Meanwhile, Sam Bahadur directed by Meghna Gulzar of Raazi fame is based on true life story. The film also stars Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sanya Malhotra. Meanwhile, in the last week of December before Christmas, the theatres will see the release of Shah Rukh Khan's much anticipated Dunki directed by Rajkumar Hirani. The film will be clashing with Prabhas's Salaar.
