On the occasion of Saptami, which is observed as the seventh day of the auspicious festival of Navratri, Kajol was snapped visiting the Durga pandal to seek blessings of the goddess. Dressed in a pretty red saree, Kajol looked ethereal as she draped the six-yard outfit to celebrate the special day. As Kajol met her extended family members and uncles after a very long time, she broke down as she hugged them. Kajol couldn't contain her tears and the video has surfaced on the internet.

Kajol was seen with her cousin Sharbani Mukherjee and other extended family members. Rani too makes sure to attend Durga Puja every year, but looking at the current situation, it seems like many Bollywood celebrities have kept the festivities low-key.
Every year, members of the family, including yesteryear actress Tanuja, her daughters Kajol and Tanisha Mukerji, niece Rani Mukerji and nephew, the filmmaker Ayan Mukerji, among others, join the festivities. The extended family includes Ajay Devgn and Bollywood and TV actor Mohnish Bahl.
Speaking about her professional commitments, Kajol has joined hands with Revathi for the upcoming film 'The Last Hurrah'. Produced by Suuraj Sinngh and Shraddha Agrawal under the banner Blive Productions and Take 23 Studios Production, 'The Last Hurrah' is directed by Revathy and written by Sammeer Arora.
Inspired by a true story and real characters, 'The Last Hurrah' tells a tale of an exemplary mother, Sujata, who battled the most challenging situations one can ever face with a smile. The film is currently in pre-production and will soon go on floors.
