UK-based musician K Zie started his journey as a musician at the age of 12 with beatboxing, but he was 16 when he took vocal coaching lessons. Today, he has collaborations with some big artists to his credit and his music is heard in over 50 countries. The 25-year-old has Indian roots and he is looking forward to debuting in Bollywood. “I have already worked on a few songs with Harry Anand for Bollywood and Punjabi projects. I really hope to have my first Bollywood track out soon,” he says.
The musician has grown up listening to Hindi film music and has a long list of musicians he would like to work with. “Personally, I love Neha Kakkar and would love to make a song with her. I feel she has one of the best voices I have ever heard from a female artiste. Also, other artistes such as Guru Randhawa, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Badshah would be great to work with. I have been a fan of Sonu Nigam since I was young, so a collaboration with him would be amazing,” says K Zie, whose favourite genres are RnB and pop.
Talking about the new projects he’s working on, K Zie says, “I have a new RnB/Afropop project that will release next month. I also have my most-anticipated record, featuring Roach Killa, releasing this summer. There are also collaborations in the pipelines from hit artists in Bollywood and Punjab.”
