Reema Kagti is responsible for the hit series, ‘Made in Heaven’. Kagti is also actively involved as a producer for various projects, including 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan', a coming-of-age story, and Jee Le Zaraa, a road trip movie directed by Farhan Akhtar. The latter features powerhouse actresses Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Katrina Kaif, and Alia Bhatt.

Amidst her busy schedule, Kagti reveals the thriving creative atmosphere at her production banner, Tiger Baby. The team is engaged in documentary projects and eagerly anticipates the release of Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. Zoya Akhtar, another prominent filmmaker, is also working on an upcoming film. Kagti concludes, "It has been a busy time at Tiger Baby. We are also doing some documentary stuff. We are hoping 'Kho Gaye Hum Kahan' will come out soon. There’s also a film that Zoya is doing. 'Supermen of Malegaon' is a film for Amazon and 'Jee Le Zara' will go on floors with the same cast."

During the same tête-à-tête she openly discusses the complexities of filming weddings for the second season of the web series "Made in Heaven," highlighting the parallels between shooting such scenes and action sequences. The series follows the dynamic journey of two friends operating a wedding planning agency, capturing the intricacies and grandeur of weddings on screen.

Kagti emphasizes that regardless of the COVID-19 pandemic, the intricate nature of production and the substantial ensemble cast posed significant challenges. The sheer scale of the show, with its multitude of actors and elaborate set designs, intensified the demanding nature of the filming process.

The director draws a comparison between shooting weddings and action sequences, describing both as intense endeavors. She remarks, "Made in Heaven is like a beast, so even without COVID-19, even in season one, it had such a huge ensemble cast, every episode had a wedding. Shooting a wedding is like shooting action, it is pretty intense."

The pandemic further complicated production logistics. COVID-19 restrictions limited the number of individuals allowed on set to 50 or fewer, yet the nature of Made in Heaven necessitated a larger crew and cast. The intricate logistics, numerous shooting locations, multiple directors, and a myriad of actors all contributed to the challenge of managing the production amid the pandemic.

The upcoming season of Made in Heaven features a returning ensemble cast including Sobhita Dhulipala, Arjun Mathur, Jim Sarbh, Kalki Koechlin, Shivani Raghuvanshi, and Shashank Arora. Joining the ensemble are new additions Mona Singh, Ishwak Singh, and Trinetra Haldar.

Reema Kagti's insights into the intricate world of filming weddings for "Made in Heaven" and confirming the news of the same cast for ‘Jee Le Zara’ offers insight and excitement for every content consumer
