It's official! Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor announce the arrival of their baby girl

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor who tied the knot in April this year have welcomed their first child

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt were seen arriving at HN Reliance hospital on Sunday morning at around 7.30 am. By 1 pm the news of Alia delivering a baby girl was out. A hospital insider had informed PTI, "It's a girl. She arrived at 7.30 am for the delivery. She has been coming to the hospital regularly between 11am-12pm for the past few days". 

Now, the couple has shared the official announcement regarding the same. "And in the best news of our lives- Our baby is here..and what a magical girl she is ! We are officially bursting with love- blessed and obsessed PARENTS!!!," wrote Alia and Ranbir in a post shared on Alia Bhatt's social media handle.

Ranbir and Alia got married in an intimate ceremony in April. They recently shared screen space for the first time in "Brahmastra Part One: Shiva", which released worldwide in September.

On the work front, Alia will be next seen in Karan Johar's directorial venture 'Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani' and her Hollywood debut 'Heart Of Stone', co-starring Gal Gadot. Ranbir's upcoming projects include Luv Ranjan's untitled movie and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's 'Animal'.
