Irrfan Khan's family and fans are yet to get out from the shock of the untimely demise of the versatile actor. The versatile actor passed away on April 29, 2020. The actor was undergoing treatment for Neuroendocrine cancer and was admitted at Mumbai's Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital due to a colon infection. Irrfan's son Babil Khan and wife Sutapa Sikdar have been sharing various pictures of their good old days spent with the late actor on their social media accounts.

Recently, Babil penned a heartfelt note for his late father on his Instagram account. Babil shared a beautiful picture of the late actor and wrote, "For in my dreams, I have no knowledge of your desertion. In my dreams today, you told me you were about to leave me and you held me for so long. Imagine the fact that I just woke up cause my phone rang for yet another offer to act, for yet another film. Now what sense does all this make without you Baba? I’d rather keep dreaming. (Tears make it hard to type, someone invent a phone for people that cry a lot plis) (sic)". Take a look:

Babil Khan had recently opened up about taking his father's legacy forward.

Babil said, "I have to do it the right way. I don't want to do a big movie in which I am dancing, it makes 100 crore and has no artistic value. My intention is to take his legacy forward. Not to become a star. It has to be done in the right way."

Babil added, "He creates he does not represent. When he portrays a character, it's just creation, he is not representing ideas that he has taken from someone else. He is literally creating the character. Now, that I am training as an actor, the art of representing and creating are two completely different things and I think it is difficult to obtain and master it."

Babil Khan attended IFFI 2021 with mother Sutapa Sikdar, and shared a few photos from the event. Sharing the photos, he wrote, "Beautiful catharsis at @iffigoa #IFFI2021 #iffi2021"

(This man exuded a younger energy than me in his late 40s even) P.C: @mridulvaibhav"
