The much anticipated ICC World Cup 2023 match between India and Pakistan is scheduled for later today at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. People from across the country have flown into the city of Gujarat to experience the match live. Several celebrities are also expected to attend the match. Ahead of the match, a picture of actress Anushka Sharma flying in for the match with other cricketers has surfaced on social media.

Cricketer Dinesh Karthik took to his Instagram handle to share a picture-perfect moment with Sachin Tendulkar and Anushka Sharma clicked on the flight to Ahmedabad. The trio were flying to the city together from Mumbai. "Royalty at 35,000 ft," wrote Karthik in the caption while wishing good luck to Team India for today's match.
Anushka Sharma who is married to cricketer Virat Kohli will be seen cheering her husband and team India for today's match. While Sharma often accompanies her husband for his matches, this is the first match of the World Cup that the actress will be seen attending. On the work front, Anushka Sharma will soon be seen essaying the role of cricketer Jhulan Goswami in a film based on her life. Titled 'Chakde Xpress' the film will be released on Netflix.

Meanwhile, this match comes after India's two matches against the arch-rivals during a winning Asia Cup campaign. One match, held in the group stage was abandoned due to rain while India registered a thumping win in the next clash during the Super Four stage.
India began their World Cup campaign with victories over Australia and Afghanistan, while Pakistan has two victories in two matches to build momentum ahead of the major encounter.
