According to reports, Anushka is pregnant with her and Virat's second baby. A source close to the couple shared with Hindustan Times, "Anushka is expecting her second baby. Like the last time, they will formally share the news with the world at a later stage." Another source shared that Anushka visited a clinic in Mumbai with Virat and made a special request to the paparazzi not to make their pictures public. Reportedly, they confirmed an official announcement soon.
Recently, Anushka flew down to Bengaluru to be with Virat. In a viral video, she seemingly covered her baby bump wearing a loose-fitted black dress. At Team India's Diwali 2023 party, the actress once again seemed to make an attempt to conceal her bump. She wore a red kurta and paired it with a purple dupatta.
Workwise, Anushka took a break from acting after Zero in 2019. She welcomed her first child, daughter Vamika in 2021. Anushka returned to sets with Jhulan Goswami's biopic, titled Chakdah Xpress. It is scheduled to release directly on Netflix. The premiere date is yet to be announced. Though fans are waiting for her full-fledged return to the silver screen, Anushka delighted all with a cameo in her brother Karnesh Sharma-produced film, Qala. She did a song in the Netflix film headlined by Tripti Dimri, Swastika Mukherjee and Babil Khan.
During the pandemic, Anushka produced the critically acclaimed Netflix film, Bulbbul, along with the web show, Pataal Lok, on Prime Video.
