Given the superlative boxoffice reports of ‘Pathaan’, it is very clear that the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pathaan’ is a certified hit globally. The stars of the films Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham just could not have ‘asked’ for a better opening for their film. Speaking of ‘asking’, King Khan Shah Rukh Khan today conducted everyone’s much-loved #AskSRK session. As always, he was loaded with an array of questions. To the best of his ability, Shah Rukh Khan tried to reply to as may users as possible, in the trademark ‘Shah Rukh Khan’ style! There was even a question to which, Shah Rukh Khan called Salman Khan ‘GOAT’!

Well, before you get any designs in mind, let us clarify that, Shah Rukh Khan was replying to a user who had asked him ‘Sir, Pathaan toh hit ho gayee… lekin, Salman Khan ka muqabla nahi kar paaogey box-office pe”. To which, Shah Rukh Khan, in a jiffy, replied him stating, “Salman bhai is… who kya kehte hain aaj kal… young log… haan… GOAT. (Greatest OF All Time) #Pathaan.


Speaking of Pathaan, it is definitely going strong on day 3 at the boxoffice. According to Yash Raj Films (YRF), the SRK-Deepika Padukone-John Abraham starrer raised Rs 38 crore nett in Hindi format, while dubbed formats earned Rs 1.25 crore nett on the third day. 'Pathaan' was also released in Tamil and Telugu on January 25.

"The total India collection on day three was Rs 39.25 crore nett (Rs 47 crore gross). Meanwhile, overseas collection was also astronomical as it collected Rs 43 crore gross. The total worldwide collection on day three was an insane Rs 90 crore worldwide gross box office," the studio said in a press note. 'Pathaan', which is Shah Rukh's first big screen release in over four years, had raised Rs 106 crore globally on its opening day, followed by Rs 113.6 crore on day two. The total India gross box office collection after three days stands at Rs 201 crore gross and total overseas collection is at Rs 112 crore gross.

Besides Shah Rukh Khan, 'Pathaan' also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead roles.
