The theme for this year's ball was 'mermaidcore', a fashion trend that has taken the world by storm since the release of the iconic movie 'The Little Mermaid'. During a recent event, Kareena Kapoor Khan flaunted her look in an ocean-green, mermaid-inspired dress. She posted pictures of herself wearing the stunning dress on Instagram. In the first picture captioned "Woke up like this," she is seen at the beginning of the event, whereas in the second picture taken at the end of the night, she captioned "And to bed like this too."

The 2024 Ball is partnering with the Emirates Marine Environmental Group (EMEG) to spotlight its initiatives towards preserving biodiversity in the UAE. Through this collaboration, the event aims to raise awareness and support for EMEG's commendable efforts.
