Snake causes chaos on KJo’s film set

The shooting of Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani at Fort Unchagaon (above), a heritage getaway near Bulandshahr in Uttar Pradesh, began on a scary note. A snake slithered on the set and caused panic among unit members. The resort staff trapped the serpent and released it in the surrounding forest. Alia Bhatt, along with Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi, is shooting amid a four-tier security cordon. Ranveer Singh and Dharmendra will join the team soon. A mandap is set up in the vicinity for a wedding sequence. Johar will be filming at the location till November 11.

Like every year, Prabhas is lining up a treat for fans on his birthday on October 23. The Baahubali star, who turns 42, will unveil the teaser of his multilingual Radhe Shyam. On Wednesday, Prabhas shared a new motion poster of Radha Krishna Kumar’s directorial venture in which he looks serious and intense. The earlier campaigns showcased him as a mild-mannered and romantic hero. It piqued the interest of his legion of fans who wondered if his character has a split personality.

Last week, Abhishek Bachchan wrote that he is in New Delhi shooting for another outing of the web series, Breathe, in a now-deleted Instagram post. Junior B had to remove it as the streamer had not officially announced it. On Wednesday, Amazon Prime Video shared details about the new season of Mayank Sharma’s crime thriller, Breathe: Into The Shadows. Bachchan will reprise his role of Dr Avinash Sabharwal and Amit Sadh will play Inspector Kabir Sawant again. Nithya Menen and Saiyami Kher are also part of the cast.

Ye kya hai?
After American rapper Kanye West officially changed his name to Ye, social media was flooded with hilarious memes. Mira Kapoor chimed in with her take on Instagram Story. The star wife shared a post that read, “If Kanye West had to introduce himself in Hindi with his new name... “Hi, mera name Ye hai. Kya hai? Ye. Ye kya?” She added, “Someone try, and trump this.” On Monday, a Los Angeles judge reportedly approved West’s petition to be known as Ye.
What a coincidence
Rani Mukerji completed shooting for Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway on October 18. The day is important because her Bollywood debut, Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat (1997), was released on the same date. She featured opposite Shadaab Khan, son of Amjad Khan, in the romantic drama. Mukerji calls it a “sweet coincidence”. Helmed by Ashima Chibber, Mrs Chatterjee Vs Norway is backed by Nikkhil Advani and Madhu Bhojwani. The film is based on a true-life incident about an Indian couple whose children were taken away by the Norway welfare services as they were deemed unfit to raise kids.

On Wednesday, Jacqueline Fernandez finally appeared before the Enforcement Directorate in the Rs 200 crore money laundering case against conman Sukesh Chandrasekar. The actor deposed before the government agency after skipping its summons four times earlier. The ED is keen to confront her with Chandrasekhar and wife Leena Maria Paul to understand the trail of transactions allegedly linked to Fernandez.

He shared the news on Instagram by posting pictures from the ceremony. He wrote, “True love stories never have endings.” The couple’s love story blossomed during the lockdown last year.
