Looks like Kangana Ranaut just can’t get Karan Johar out of her mind. During a visit to the Bangla Sahib Gurdwara in New Delhi, with her show Lock Upp: Badaas Jail Atyachari Khel producer Ekta Kapoor, the actor was asked who she would like to lock up first in her jail. The Panga actor quipped, “I would like to lock up my best friend Karan Johar ji, in my jail and host him there. Along with him, I’d even like to put Ekta Kapoor.” Wonder what KJo has to say about this.

Priyamani maange more money
South actor Priyamani, who made her Bollywood debut in Rakht Charitra (2010) and did a dance number opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Chennai Express (2013), became a household name with The Family Man, starring Manoj Bajpayee. The actor, who will be next seen in Maidaan, has reportedly doubled her fee. Justifying female actors demanding their right, Priyamani has been quoted as saying if they’re asking for something, it’s only because they deserve it.

Real Gangubai’s family slams film’s team
With just a week to go for its date with cinemas, Gangubai Kathiawadi has got embroiled in another controversy. Babu Raoji Shah, the adopted son of the real Gangubai, and her granddaughter Bharti have slammed the movie and its makers. In an interview to a news channel, Babu Raoji Shah said, “My mother has been turned into a prostitute. People are now saying inexplicable things about her.” Last year, he had also filed a case against Sanjay Leela Bhansali and the writers from whose book Mafia Queens Of Mumbai: Stories of Women from Ganglands, the film has been adapted. However, the Bombay High Court had refused to stay the release of Gangubai Kathiawadi and granted an interim stay on the criminal defamation proceedings against the filmmakers.
Dhanush to wield dhanush now
It’s natural when two people related in real life collaborate for a project, there has to be something special and novel about it. It’s no different for actor Dhanush and his writer-director brother, who are teaming up for the Tamil film, Naane Varuven, 10 years after their last collaboration, Mayakkam Enna. Their new collaboration will not only feature Dhanush in a dual role, but will also see him showcase his skills with a bow. The actor has been taking archery lessons for the film and if observers are to be believed, he will prove to be a dhanurdhari with this one.

After Rahul Dev, Vidya Malavade and Vijay Raaz, now Tanuj Virwani and Divya Aggarwal have been cast for the third season of the web show, Abhay, starring Kunal Kemmu in the titular role. Tanuj and Divya play Kabir and Harleen respectively, a typical social media couple who lead a life of luxury and cater to a huge online fanbase, which they entertain with their goofy couple challenges. It’s another thing that at night, these NRI Canadians showcase a side that will be revealed closer to the series’ launch.
