Joining the league is ex-contestant Sumbul Touqeer, who referred to Munawar Faruqui when stating that it “saddens me how a person’s private life is dragged on a show”. “The show is entirely based on different perspectives. The game should not have anything to do with a person’s life outside the house.” During her stay in the house, Touqeer became a popular contestant.

Juhi Chawla, Arshad Warsi, Gauahar Khan and Divya Dutta will be seen in filmmaker Niddhish Puuzhakkal’s upcoming psychological thriller, Ego, touted to be a tale on claustrophobia. He said, “Drawing from my childhood experiences and inspired by the rich tapestry of human emotions as a psychologist, I’ve poured my heart and soul into this project. The narrative is fresh, offering viewers worldwide an experience.”

Weeks after speaking of body positivity, Sonam K Ahuja revealed that she has shed 20 kilos of postpartum weight. Addressing her 35.3 million followers on Instagram, she wrote: “What a wow; 20 kilos down, six more to go”. On January 4, the actor had dropped pictures of herself in a lehenga, and shared that it took her 16 months to “feel like myself again”. “Without any crash diets and crazy workouts,” she had shared of her journey till then. Sonam had a baby boy in 2022.

Shreya Ghoshal and composers Sachin-Jigar are collaborating on a new romantic ballad, titled Tu meri hai. The song has been sung by Jigar Saraiya and Ghoshal. Sharing their excitement about the collaboration, Sachin-Jigar said in a statement: “Collaborating with the gifted Shreya Ghoshal after a long span of 13 years feels wonderful. There’s always brilliant creative energy while working with her.” The duo previously delivered the hit, Saibo, from Shor in the City, in 2011.

Filmmaker Sriram Raghavan’s Merry Christmas has earned Rs 12.68 crore net at the domestic box office, as per reports. Starring Katrina Kaif and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles, the suspense drama released in theatres on January 12. According to reports, the movie earned between R2.45 crore and R3.83 crore on each of the first three days of its release, and saw a dip on Monday.
Reviving Sushant’s film
Mukesh Chhabra took to social media to simply share: “Dil Bechara 2”. The director piqued curiosity with news about the second edition of the film that originally starred late actor and Chhabra’s friend, Sushant Singh Rajput. Dil Bechara is based on John Green’s novel, The Fault in Our Stars, and was Sanjana Sanghi’s debut film. However, not everyone was happy with the news, with one user commenting, “Without Sushant? No sir, please.” Others shared that they were “looking forward” to it.
Wake up, says Richa
Calling out a commercial airline for repeated delays, actor Richa Chadha took to social media to lament that citizens continue to suffer with no recourse when “monopoly creates lack of accountability”. Chadha is the latest film personality to narrate her air travel ordeal on social media. In a post, Chadha said two out of the three flights that she took with IndiGo in the last three days were delayed. “Common citizens suffer, with no recourse. Till we don’t recognise it, we will be at a disadvantage while paying through our noses. And if we don’t wake up, we deserve it (sic),” she wrote. In the last few days, actors Radhika Apte, Surbhi Chandna and Ranvir Shorey criticised separate air carriers due to different issues.
