The model-turned-actor is now a key figure in Bollywood, but she has an interesting background. Nargis Fakhri is originally from New York. It's clear from her appearance on the show that she has the perfect model figure and carries herself like a diva. She is a natural on the runway, as confirmed by a throwback video of her auditioning for America’s Next Top Model.

A video from 2004 has surfaced, showing a young Nargis trying to impress the judges with her confidence, despite stumbling over her words at first. When asked why she wanted to be a model, she said it was 'just a job,' which didn't impress the judges, although they did praise her body. Nargis managed to get into the show but was eventually eliminated in Cycle 3.

Nargis Fakhri says she wants to live in the woods because of THIS reason

Just recently, actress Nargis Fakhri mentioned desires to live in the woods, as she says there is nothing better than spending days in nature. Nargis took to her Instagram stories and shared a video of her trekking through the woods.

Without sharing details about her whereabouts, Nargis wrote: "I want to live in the woods, there is nothing better than waking up to this and spending your days in nature. I feel so grateful and blessed, nature heals us."

Talking about her work, Nargis, who made her Bollywood debut in 2011 with the Ranbir Kapoor-starrer 'Rockstar', was last seen in the Hindi comedy film 'Shiv Shastri Balboa' starring Anupam Kher and Neena Gupta.

The actress will next be seen in the Telugu period action adventure film 'Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1 - Sword vs Spirit' starring Pawan Kalyan and Bobby Deol.

The film is reportedly set in the Mughal Era.
