Pakistani actor Fawad Khan, who featured in Khoobsurat and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, on the possibility of working in Bollywood again
Fawad Khan
Pakistani star Fawad Khan, who has worked in Bollywood films like Khoobsurat, Kapoor & Sons and Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, spoke about working in Bollywood. Khan was a favourite among Indian masses until rising political tensions between India and Pakistan led to Pakistani actors and musicians being banned from working in the country. Ask him if he would consider returning to Bollywood, and he says, “The collaboration with those who I [came] to know, and the sorts of individuals I [connected with] made it an awesome [experience], and I actually loved it. The political fallout has not influenced [our relationships], but it has made us very cautious of answering such a query,” said Khan.

“I cannot give a definitive reply. I’ll do my work and go away, but the people who’ll have to suffer are those who want to collaborate with me. I care about that because they are going to live there, and they’re going to suffer the consequences. Similarly, if I were to work [in India] and return [to Pakistan], I’d have to suffer the consequences of what the people or the government think about it. I would love to see them again and work with them. Whether it be for an international, a Pakistani, or an Indian platform.”
