After multiple delays in the release of Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday-starrer 'Dream Girl 2', the film is all set to hit the big screens on August 25. While the makers have been dropping engaging promo videos of Ayushmann Khurrana's Pooja interacting with characters from films that have released this year, the first look poster has now been unveiled. The previous promos only teased with Pooja's voice and her flirtatious conversations with filmi characters and never showed her face.

The first look poster of 'Dream Girl 2' was unveiled today digitally, a month before the theatrical release of the film. In the poster, Ayushmann Khurrana is seen dressed as a woman and dressed in shiny blouse and skirt. As Pooja, he is seen holding a lipstick near his lips as he pouts while looking at the camera. There is a makeup room mirror in front of him on which we see the reflection of his real self. Ayushmann as Karamveer is seen dressed in a white shirt with an expression of shock on his face. He, too, is seen holding a red lipstick in his hand.
Sharing the first look poster, Ayushmann Khurrana wrote, "Yeh toh sirf pehli jhalak hai. Objects in the mirror are more khoobsurat than they appear!"

Balaji Telefilms Dream Girl 2 is the sequel to the highly successful film, 'Dream Girl, which was released in 2019. The first instalment was a big hit at the box office. The first film Karamveer gets a job at a call centre due to his ability to talk in a woman's voice. He garners a big fan following but soon gets in trouble with his overzealous clients.
The makers of 'Dream Girl 2' have been promoting the film and keeping the buzz alive with innovative videos. Ahead of the release of Salman Khan's 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan', the makers of 'Dream Girl 2' had dropped a teaser video where Pooja can be seen talking to the Bhaijaan of Bollywood on call. The voice of Bhaijaan requests Pooja to reveal her face. However, as she turns towards the camera, the lights go off. Earlier, the makers had fun collaboration videos with 'Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar' and 'Pathaan', where Pooja was seen having conversations with Ranbir Kapoor and Shah Rukh Khan.
Besides Ayushmann, the film stars Ananya Panday, Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, Asrani, Manjot Singh and Vijay Raaz among others.
